June Gigs. Cracking gigs at Swindon Bowl, Wimbourne Festival,
Beverley, Big Session, Clara Vale and Morris in the Forest
set the tone for a fantastic June. Alongside this, "Pack
of Jokers" was finally released to an unsuspecting public
on 27 June. Photographs of the band were taken at Swindon
including Tom with really big hair. A week later at Wimbourne
he had hardly any after a trip to his favourite hairdresser.

Not as young as he looks.
Mike was pleased to discover that the Swindon Advertiser and Gazette had
his age down as 37 following an interview and is pleased to announce that
he has changed his birth certificate.

On Stage with the Oysters.
Both Beverley and Big Session festivals were excellent with the
Whaps joining the Oysters on stage at Leicester for their first encore.
(Great vocal debuts from Brian and Heather with admirable tambourine
support from Rick and Bob. Toots and Tom actually played their instruments.
Mike jumped around and clapped)

Recent Gigs
At the beginning of July we headed for Llanwrtyd Wells
deep in the heart of Wales for the Morris in the Forest Festival.
The climax of the evening being an outbreak of feverish moshing to "Last Banana"
A really big thanks to everyone who's come along to the gigs and
made it so enjoyable for us.

Next on the agenda for us is an appearance at the Mouth of the Tyne Festival
on Sunday 10 July followed by a trip to Trowbridge Festival and then
Sidmouth and the Big Chill in August. Hope to see you at some or all
